Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs every day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend each Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Large Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All by life here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be lifeless earlier than you reach 50 years of consuming Huge Macs.’ I suppose I proved them unsuitable,” he said.

His son isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had pleased meals. I always liked my rooster nuggets, and my brother at all times liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of factor for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a varied weight loss program.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day by day, however finally you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, however he certainly does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he will proceed eating Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.
