Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of companies responded to a middle college in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty round 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager never made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the area together with several other agencies in an try to search out him.
The teenager was found close to the varsity’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old may very well be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no menace made to the school or anybody inside the school.
