Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete safety barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Both had been taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officials said. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
