EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the authorized alcohol limit after at least five individuals called 911.
Officers say the calls started coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway close to the Main Road exit. They are saying the crash induced a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver kept going.
Other callers say the driving force was everywhere in the street and now lacking a entrance tire.
They say he eventually stopped at a car dealership and appeared “super drunk.”
Staff instructed police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was attempting to promote his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.
They say Mattingly smelled of alcohol and almost fell a number of instances. Officers say he examined .291 on a conveyable breath take a look at.
Police say inside his SUV, they discovered Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is dealing with several prices.
He's the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former professional baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
