A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information release from the park.
The lady approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Outdated Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison stay at the park, and so they have injured more individuals than some other animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft in the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals have been also close to the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The discharge didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this text misstated the severity of the girl’s accidents. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
