- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die allerersten Suchmaschinen im Netz an, das frühe Web zu erfassen. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald entwickelten sich Anstalt, die sich auf die Verfeinerung ausgebildeten. In Anfängen erfolgte die Aufnahme oft zu der Übertragung der URL der richtigen Seite bei der verschiedenartigen Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Analyse der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Webserver der Search Engine, wo ein zweites Anwendung, der die bekannten Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die damaligen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die mithilfe der Webmaster selbst gegeben wurden von empirica, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Search Engines wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Überblick per Gegenstand einer Seite, allerdings setzte sich bald raus, dass die Verwendung dieser Vorschläge nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der verwendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts repräsentieren vermochten. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Seiten bei individuellen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Punkte innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu steuern, dass die Seite passender in den Resultaten gefunden wird.[3] Da die späten Internet Suchmaschinen sehr auf Punkte dependent waren, die allein in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Schindluder und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um tolle und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in den Serps zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Besitzer der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Gegebenheiten adjustieren. Weil der Gelingen einer Suchseiten davon abhängig ist, wesentliche Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten unangebrachte Urteile dazu führen, dass sich die Benützer nach weiteren Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten wofür Suche im Web umblicken. Die Lösung der Suchmaschinen fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Platz, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwierig beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entworfenen mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Die Suchmaschine – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Auch übrige Search Engines relevant in Mitten der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo search
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
